Accommodations for Students with Disabilities

Overview

The Testing Center is responsible for providing services to students with documented disabilities who are entitled to testing accommodations. Dian Jenkins, Coordinator of Disability Services, decides whether a student is entitled to testing accommodations, and, if so, what those accommodations are. The Testing Center will provide the accommodations based on the accommodations letter issued each semester by Dian Jenkins (jenkins_d@fortlewis.edu).

Testing Schedule

Students with testing accommodations may take their tests, after following the appointment process (see below), in Noble Hall, Room 287, during the Testing Center’s Hours of Operation

Appointment Process

The Testing Center requires that appointments are made in advance. To make an appointment, call, email, or stop by the Testing Center 5 days in advance (14 days in advance for tests to be taken during final exam week).

A Test Summary Form also needs to be submitted with each test. The completed Test Summary Form can be emailed or dropped off in the Testing Center mailbox in Noble 280.

Be on Time!

It is very important for the smooth running of the Testing Center that every effort is made to be on time for appointments.

Cancellations of and Changes to Scheduled Appointments

Please contact the Testing Center as soon as possible at if testing appointments need to be cancelled or changed.
