The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a half-day standardized test required for admission to all 202 law schools that are members of the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). It provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of several factors in assessing applicants. The test is administered four times a year at hundreds of locations around the world. Many law schools require that the LSAT be taken by December for admission the following fall. However, taking the test earlierin Octoberis often advised. The registration fee for the LSAT is $112. Late registrants must pay an additional $56. The LSAT is given at Fort Lewis College. PLEASE NOTE: Almost all LSAC-member law schools in the United States will also require that you register for the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS). On the day of the test: Students should report to Jones Hall, Room 140 no later than 8:30am for testing. Students need to present their admission ticket and a current photo ID. Questions?
